Reflexology in Southwark, Lambeth, Central London
Reflexology is a safe and non-intrusive complementary therapy based on the theory that reflex points on the feet and hands correspond to all organs and areas of the body. Following illness, stress or injury, the body is in a state of 'imbalance' and vital energy pathways may be blocked, which may prevent the body from functioning effectively. Through gentle pressure applied to reflex points on the feet and hands, reflexology may help to stimulate the body's own natural ability to heal itself.
How can Reflexology help?
Reflexology can be used to help restore and maintain the body, helping with relaxation and may also help many conditions including:
- back pain
- fertility issues (for more information, please look at Maternity Reflexology
- sleep disorders
- digestive disorders
- stress and anxiety
Reflexologists do not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe. As with all complementary therapies, reflexology should not be used as an alternative to seeking medical attention. Each session of reflexology works holistically on an individual basis, therefore, it is not possible to know in advance how you will react. The only way to know if reflexology will help you is to try it!
I am a qualified and experienced Reflexologist and am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR).
I also specialise in maternity reflexology - to help support through the pre-conception journey and all throughout the stages of and after pregnancy. Reflexology is a safe and popular therapy to receive throughout this journey. For further information, please look at Maternity Reflexology
